This is more than a simple translation of the game's script, as Geofront's patch completely enhances the PC port of Zero no Kiseki.

New players are encouraged to play the entire Liberl arc (Trails in the Sky FC, SC, the 3rd) before starting this game and its sequel, Ao no Kiseki, and the following Erebonia arc (Trails of Cold Steel I through IV). It will be up to the SSS to uncover the truth behind Crossbell’s mysteries and get over the many barriers placed in front of them. However, behind Crossbell’s criminal underworld and political corruption lies an even more sinister conspiracy brewing since the Middle Ages. Together, these four heroes will face the realities of Crossbell’s seedy underbelly as they work to restore the CPD’s damaged reputation with Crossbell’s citizens. Lloyd Bannings, Elie MacDowell, Tio Plato, and Randy Orlando comprise the newly-formed Special Support Section of the Crossbell Police Department. You can learn more about who were the individuals responsible for the project on Geofront's own website. This is a project only made possible by passionate and incredibly talented fans, and I hope many people get to experience this localization! Years back, the Heroes of Legend team released a fan translation of the game, which was then picked up by the Geofront group who edited it and improved it into a form that reaches the high standard set for Trails in the west after XSEED's localizations of the series' other arcs.

It is the fourth installment in the Trails franchise, and part of the Crossbell arc in the series that has never received an official localization here in the west.
